Radio BiBaBiDi Vol. 14

das bierbeben
LCD Soundsystem recently released an internet-only collection of b-sides and live tracks called Introns. It's pretty good, and I really liked Fk's Disco Infiltrator Dub version of "Disco Infiltrator."
Asobi Seksu is back, and much improved. They're more sure of themselves, I'd say, and their unique style of shoegaze is ... invigorating. It's not shoegaze in the conventional sense -- lots more post-punk influences and prominent bass lines mixed in here -- but it's shoegaze undoubtedly.
Justice's 2005 Waters of Nazareth has finally been released on CD, and man do I love this thing. It's like a more evolved Daft Punk with a sort of baroque, classical edge. But by no means less dance-oriented.
Lastly, Das Bierbeben -- a labelmate of Apparat (the guy who collaborated on Ellen Allien's latest LP, Orchestra of Bubble) -- has released her debut LP, Alles Fallt. I'll let you judge this singer for yourself, but does the German Bjork sound like a good way to put her style? Certainly moreaccessiblee than Bjork, but she has quite a unique voice and songwriting style, indeed.
